Tamar Rimmon
Columbia University | School of Business

Tamar is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School concentrating on Strategy and Media. She serves as a Vice President of the Media Management Association and is on the Dean’s List in recognition of academic excellence. Her other endeavors at Columbia include being a teaching assistant and doing pro-bono consulting to a small local business about future growth. While at Columbia, Tamar interned at the Nielsen Company and participated in the
company’s strategic planning for 2012.

Prior to business school, she worked as a Translation Production Manager at Channel 2 News, Israel’s leading television channel, where she collaborated with reporters and news staff to broadcast five daily news programs. Earlier in her career, Tamar served as a commanding officer in the Israel Defense Forces. Tamar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and in Communication and Journalism, summa cum laude, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
